Artist's Comments
Anyone who's read the ElfQuest Graphic Novel, Book One: Fire and Flight, will recognise this scene. I always loved this scene, and since I havn't drawn Piccy in a while, I decided to parody it a bit. Not as many frames used and a few were switched around in order, but the overall scene is intact.
And noooo Nothin' naughty was goin' on. I really wanted to draw Piccolo with no shirt on. I killed his anatomy, especially in the back. Blaim my horrible lack of references. OMG I can't believe how much I stiiiiink  It looked so nice as a sketch... and as usual I killed it with the inking... AND WHY CAN'T I DRAW STREIGHT LIIIIINES! I EVEN USE A RULE FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD! *steams*  But... I still had fun drawing this. This took WAY too long to do for its shortness... I guess thats what happens when you live in a crummy appartment with crappy A.C. Or at least they TELL us that we have A.C. I'm still not convinced. But yeah... I hate the summer... Love it!! That's one of my favorite scenes from the whole series!!! and I have to admit the second to last panel with the antennae "SPROING!" was just priceless. *grins* I think you did a great job!
